Meryl Chambers has practiced criminal law since 2009 in Los Angeles County. She has helped litigate hundreds of cases and has obtained many successful results for clients facing felony and misdemeanor charges.
Ms. Chambers has worked on all types of criminal cases, including DUI, White Collar Crime, Drug Crimes, Sex Crimes, Murder/Violent Crimes, Juvenile Crimes and Domestic Violence. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida, and a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School. She was admitted to the California State Bar, Central District of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals - Ninth Circuit in 2009. She is a member of both California Attorneys for Criminal Justice (CACJ) and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association (SFVBA).
Ms. Chambers focuses on alternative sentencing options - to keep the client's record clean. She has obtained numerous pre-court case dismissals, despite an arrest having been made. In court, Ms. Chambers has reached numerous diversionary settlements on charges of prostitution, theft, and other serious allegation. She is compassionate and committed to reaching the best result in criminal court.
Ms. Chambers has also defended hundreds of DUI cases and contested license suspensions with the DMV throughout Southern California courtrooms. She has caused numerous charges of drunk driving to be reduced or dismissed. She understands DMV and licensing rules thoroughly, advising clients on how to keep or obtain their privilege to drive following a drunk driving arrest.
